Board of Directors has adopted the following policy for blocking of certain WEB sites.

Worth County-Sylvester, Ga Free-Net board of directors accepts the United States Supreme Court's decisions that the local community standards must be the guideline in determining what is considered obscene. Therefore the Worth County - Sylvester, GA

Free-Net board of directors, (from this point called the board) drawn from and representing the local community, will publish which internet sites it deems inappropriate for our local community. These sites will be denied access using established

software blocking procedures. The local community must understand that the Worth County-Sylvester, GA Free-Net can only block access to sites which the board has been informed to be judged by local standards as obscene and that subscribers may

still find away to circumvent the software blocks of inappropriate sites. Any adult (adult as defined by the State of Georgia) may be granted access to all sites by proving they are an adult to the board.

Any individual or institution may appeal the boards decision by requesting a hearing in writing to the board. That individual or institution must appeal the decision by appearing before the board to explain their position. The board's decision may be

appealed by that individual or institution when they have proof that the local standards have changed.
