Matt Leonard has an Amazing 3.7 GPA along with those great tackles at saftey.
In the September 2008 Southwest Georgia Edition of "Get in the Game" High School Sports Magazine Matt Leonard, a Senior at Worth County Highschool, has been recognized as an Academic Athlete.
Coach Harris Rainbow, Worth County's Head Football Coach, says of Matt, "His high Academic achievement makes him a model for the rest of our football team". Matt Leonard, a free safety for the Highschool football team, is the son of Dwight and Maria Leonard. His sister is Rashunda Whitfield, also a graduate of Worth County. Matt is on the U.S. Army Pre-season academic honor roll for Class AAA in the 2008 Georgia High School Football Magazine and has maintained a 3.7 GPA throughout his High School Career while participating in multiple sports. Matt is also a member of Future Business Leaders of America and served his Junior year as Vice President of his Junior Class.
